Secure Wordpress - Am I Scaring You Yet?

I don't know about you, but when I was first securing my WordPress site, and I was researching to find out what others were doing to keep their blog safe, I found so much information that I was completely confused. And some of the information was in fact on the top or superstitious. People told me rename this folder, to rename this file and install these ten plugins. It seemed to be a bit of effort and work.

Cloning your website is just another degree in secure your wordpress website that may be useful. Cloning simply means that you've backed up your website to a completely different place, (offline, as in a folder, in order to not have SEO problems) where you can get it in a moment's notice if necessary.

The approach, and the one I personally recommend, is to use one of the password creation and storage plugins available for your browser. People like RoboForm, but I believe after a free trial period, you have to pay for it. I use the free version of Lastpass, and I recommend it for those of you who use Internet Explorer or Firefox. That will generate secure passwords for you; you then use one master password to log in.

Keep control of your online assets - Nothing is worse than having your livelihood in the hands of somebody else. Why take chances with something as important as your website?

It's time use this individual's name and identity to read more present as your buddy and to register for a Facebook accounts. After I get it all set up, I'll be telling you posing as your friend and asking you to be friends with me on Facebook (or additional hints Twitter, or whichever societal site).
